Crating the PGA-150 and PGM-150
There are a few advantages to receiving your machine disassembled in a crate. For those of you who have a difference in custom duties between a new assembled machine and a crate of machine parts the cost difference may warrant the extra price. There is also the security of a crate that is very difficult to pilfer during transit or while sitting in the customs yard. We have encountered this in the past. Unfortunately the crate weighs about 1800 lbs (820K) and you will have to assemble the machine which although not very difficult will require a few hand tools as well as some help as some of the parts are pretty heavy. There may also be a reduced freight charge as well depending on the destination.
The size of the crate is 6 feet wide x 8 feet long x 4 feet high and is constructed of steel and wood framing and plywood sheeting. You will also need a screw gun or lots of patience to disassemble the crate. Directions for crate disassembly and machine reassembly will be mailed with the certificate of origin and other pertinent documents.
