The PGA series was actually the first of the machines we built when we first started back in the 90s and the PGA 240 was the first model. Since then we have upgraded the series with abrasive resistant liners, oil coolers, tandem axles, new valving and a different wiring schematic that reasulted in a much better performing machine as well as longer lasting but came at a heftier price tag, hence the introduction of the BLM Series whis is designed specifically for the owner builder and the export market.
While we can build several variations of the PGA, from 3 Blocks per minute (BPM) to 10 BPM we have found that two variations suffice for standardization purposes, The 4 BPM and the 6 BPM listed respectively as the PGA240-12 and the PGA360-12. yes they are available in other speeds and power units (kind of) and can be quoted. We have built several 10 BPM presses and found that they were impossible to use at that speed and that 6 BPM was pretty much the fastest people could make good blocks. It appears that a single press is limited to pressing clays at a rate slow enough to make the clays yield.
This page is the new launch page for the PGA series machines and will have the liknk to the individual machines and appropriate videos.
