Earth Blenders
I went to Peru back in 2005 to train the use and care of a 360 doublepress up in the andes in a little town called Pampa Colca, we had HELL! LOL we being myself and my host who was a native peruvian and an awesome guide. But, it was rough. when we finally got the machine delivered and got dirt delivered, (you have no idea) we proceeded to make 200 blocks in a whole day with 8 guys with shovels mixing the soil and shoveling it into the machine! yes a 360 is designated because it produces 360 blocks per hour and we made 200 in 8. So sad, had we a decent smaller loader we could have done better but still not the 3000 we should have made. this has been the issue with the bigger presses all along, at best the operator was only able to make blocks 25% of the time he spent and the rest was mixing and loading dirt!
This isn't a problem with the 4 BPM machines as a small loader can keep up with the soil in real time but when we start talking 4 and 5 or more yards per hour you need a blender to utilize that machine, anyways, that's why we built one and then another and so on. of course at the time nobody else was making one specifically for dirt so we designed it from the ground up. Actuallly, my dad, WC did, lol, he sure had awesome skills, I made it work, his mechanic skills not so much lol.
EarthBlenders are not for the faint of heart, they are expensive and complex and require a lot of skill, experience and reasoning ability but they work and they've gotten better over the years.
These are the current models we are building, yes other configurations are available and electric is available.
